Introducing our Walnut Epoxy River Coasters: Enhance Your Tabletop with Natural Beauty
Crafted from a single piece of wood, the walnut epoxy river coasters feature a carefully cut channel to create a stunning river effect. We use Ecopoxy, a reputable brand, to tint the epoxy in a captivating Cobalt Diamond Blue shade. To protect and extend their lifespan, we apply a durable and natural finish. Each set is made to order, ensuring a unique and personalized touch. The finished coasters measure 4 inches square and are 0.5 inches thick.
Our meticulous process begins by cutting the wood into a slightly oversized strip. Then, we carefully carve a random-shaped channel into the center. We mix and tint the epoxy to the desired color before pouring it into the channel. Regular stirring every 2 hours for the first 24 hours creates the mesmerizing swirling effect showcased in the photos. After 5 days, we flatten and sand the river, followed by cutting it into squares and sanding the edges. Applying multiple coats of the non-toxic finish, each with a 24-hour drying time, ensures a polished appearance. Finally, we pack and ship the coasters, including a holder made from an extra coaster.
Rest assured, our finish and epoxy are non-toxic. Upon receiving the item, you may notice a subtle hint of citrus from the finish, but no other unpleasant odors.
To keep your coasters clean, simply use a damp rag to wipe away any dust. Avoid harsh chemicals as they may damage the finish.
Please note that these coasters are made to order, and we strive to ship them within two to three weeks. As each piece is unique, the river’s shape and epoxy color may vary slightly from the pictures, adding to the individual charm and appeal.
